ACTE Recognizes Technology Exhibitors For Their `Green` Solutions Alexandria, VA

Press Release Body = The Association of Corporate Travel Executives\' (ACTE) Solutions Showcase, at the Miami Global Education Conference (May 6-8, 2007) will be offering something green. ACTE will recognize those exhibitors who are showcasing \"green\" solutions/tools/products. ACTE has been working on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) industry education since early 2005, including supporting green technology and raising industry awareness of the issue of trafficking of women and children. As part of its CSR efforts, ACTE has also provided education on how companies can become better corporate citizens through company wide initiatives including blood drives with local blood banks.
ACTE knows that many of our members have developed green tools for the industry, and will be distinguishing those companies with a symbol in both the conference program, as well as on their booth sign. The companies that will be recognized for their \"Green\" efforts are:

ACTE is holding its second annual low-carbon conference in Miami through the support of British Airways and is pleased to be providing three sessions on sustainability: \'Sustainable Procurement: What is the Green Question?, \'Profiling Carbon Emissions from Corporate Travel,\' and Carbon Emissions and Managed Travel: Cutting Through the Smog.
ACTE executive director Susan Gurley commented that promoting \"Green\" solutions and products was the natural next step of ACTE\'s CSR program, and is excited about industry progress in the arena of \"Green\" solutions. ACTE\'s global education conference in May will have in attendance over 1,100 senior-level executives, from over 36 countries.
